verizon speed testI'm supposed to have 25/25; using speedtest.verizon.net I was getting 14/26 [with speedtest.net I got 30/24]--I called VZ tech support, they have a NEW (beta) speedtest: res.speedtest.verizon.net/fios300--which gives my speed as 30/25 Others having a similar problem might retest using the new speedtest. |

» res.speedtest.verizon.ne ··· fios300/» speedtest.verizon.com/fios300/Both tests gave me 30/27 but a slightly higher ping on the second test. |

I hate speedtest.net
Bunch of mom and pops servers, and you have to do too much digging to find a good server. well I won't say hate, but I Definetely don't trust it unless I know the server I am testing at. The dreamhost server in LA is awesome, and then the other ones are iffy, I have had my friends test at other ones and we have to constantly click 2 and 3 different servers to find one that is good. |

Every new version of OOKLA is better than the previous, seems to get more consistent and reliable results and definitely pushes more upload (confirmed by netmeter).
Wish speedtest.net would upgrade. |
