and all the playoff games from wild card to world series are included for free 90 minutes after the game, i think they had a live subscription for an additional price last year, you can use the audio-overlay to avoid Ernie Johnson's horrific play-by-play during the early TBS rounds or Joe Buck for the entirety of the World Series

and its impossible to try to sync up the radio feeds yourself since every DVR cablebox has a 30+ second delay built-in to allow for pausing live tv, so that feature is irreplaceable

and its avalible thru pretty much every media device if you dont want to watch it on your computer or can easily use dualscreen with your HDTV

For the record, you should only be blacked out of the Mets and Yankees (both home and road games).

The MLB blackout policy is all about selling exclusive broadcast rights to regional networks. Unlike the NFL, it has nothing to do with encouraging attendance. An extreme example is viewers in Hawaii are blacked out of a Yankees game in New York if they are playing a West Coast team.

I can give you three from July 5th -

Tampa/Cleveland - Game2 (HD and SD Channel)
Cubs / Atlanta - Game 6
Dodgers/Arizona - Game 9

After 1 1/2 hours on the phone with CSR, I reached a contact at InDemand - apparently they had systems issues which caused delays in clearing blocked games from previous games/days etc.

This has been happening often though which is very annoying - I had friends over specifically to watch one of these games.

FYI CSR's original claim of not showing games if not a sellout was total BS - sometimes I think they'll tell us anything to get us off the line.

the last csr I spoke with says they are now blacking out games if not sold out - I was told when I subscribed only NY area games are blacked out - has something changed recently with the rules?

I have been on-going issues since subscribing to the MLB Package with channels not specific to my area being continually blacked out. Today there are three channels I cannot get that have games outside the NYC area where I live.

Is anyone else having issues with this and any suggestions on how to get corrected. I spent an hour on the phone but CSR tells me they have no control - it an INDEMAND issue but I paid Verizon for this and at this point am thinking of asking for a refund. This is the fourth time this month alone.
