Comcast exempted its VOD on the XBox 360 from adding to data usage, not all apps. See

HBO GO, etc....... are NOT XFinity apps, they are apps of their respective companies. |

HBO Go isn't an "Xfinity app". The app that's been the cause of controversy is the Xfinity on Xbox app. There are countless blog posts and OpEds about it.
