Re: [Modem] Modem

No amount of "profile" changing will correct your
problem.You need to test from you nid and see
if your numbers change,if they remain the same
you need a tech visit.

@broadriver.com

SN went to 7 on the next test. My problem started when they installed uverse at the house across the street that routes off the same pole, would that make a difference?

They might have switched the pair you are on. Test at the NID as tigerpaw said. If it's a line problem, it's not going to get fixed until you have a tech out there.

@bellsouth.net

Tested at NID
SN Margin 13.0
Line Attenuation 13.5
Running at over 7.11 mps

Thanks for everyones help, I am going to hard wire the modem directly to the NID unless someone say's i shouldn't?
I have it running that way now temporarily and it's smokin fast.

That configuration is called a "home run", and it is the preferred configuration.
