Base image (using PS): Created a new image with that sunrise/sunset effect using a filter from Filter Forge Took the Liberty image and erased the background, creating a cutout layer Put a slight white glow around the cutout and placed that layer on top of the sunrise one, and flattened the image. Applied the Redfield Perfectum filter to smooth things out a bit. To create the top image, I ran it through some additional filters to add color and to simplify the image. Then I added a thin black frame. This second image removes some of the background color irregularities of the first one and changes the emphasis of the image from the figure to the entire scene, IMO. I liked the way the color hues balanced out. |

Four layers: Virtual Painting 5 drawing filter layer Alien Skin Snap Art 2 stylize filter layer manual color changer layer (selected image areas) manual airbrush tool layer I think that was about it (best as I recall ). |

There are some truly original artists in these CE threads but I'll wager to say that a psychiatrist would have to rewrite the text books if he/she ever saw some of these creations. |
