I'm glad... WTF were they thinking signing him anyway... They were probably thinking he might still be able to get somebody out. And he's left-handed. A left-handed pitcher will always get more looks/chances than a righty.
Moyer needs to give it up, though. Nobody's really interested anymore, and he's 49. He's had a very nice career.
No point in going hat-in-hand to every single team first. Read the handwriting on the wall, and get on with the rest of your life-- that part of your life which doesn't include standing on a mound in a baseball park.
