Scottsdale - down from 11:30am to 7:30pm on July 5 phone/internet down 11:30am to 7:30pm (modem continuously rebooting after failed connection attempt). Called COX, tried usual cycling of all components - no luck. Scheduled tech visit for today. Net came back up around 7:30 pm. Called today, COX said there were outages starting in Scottsdale at 11:21am yesterday. (Canceled tech visit.) Tech I talked to yesterday at 5:00 pm had no clue about outage.
How can I confirm the system-wide outage? Why was it out 8 hours? Did I make a mistake switching my land-line phone to COX?
