Re: ESXI hosts + vyatta + vlan + netgear smart switch = HELP I'm trying to understand your network topology a little more.
My understanding is:
You have 3 Physical ESXi (5.0) Hosts - ESXi-1 has 2 Physical NICs - ESXi-2 has 3 Physical NICs - ESxi-3 has 1 Physical NIC
You have 3 VLANs configured on the Switch - VLAN1 (192.168.1.0/24) - VLAN10 (10.10.10.0/24) - VLAN20 (Unknown)
From the vSwitch configuration on Server 3, the vSwitch1 for VLAN Trunk and subsequently the DC(Test) server doesn't have a NIC assigned to it.
Since this vSwitch is Internal to the ESXi-3 host only, you may need to use the Vyatta router as the Default Gateway on clients in order to access the 10.10.10.0/24 LAN, or add a Static Route on the DD-WRT gateway 192.168.1.1 to point it to the 10.10.10.0/24 Gateway. |
