I would make a post in the direct forum and ask them to check your line stats. They will tell you if it's a distance or wiring issue. Bad wiring can sometimes be replaced, and if you are too far they might have you connected to the wrong CO (it happened at least twice with my own customers who were on the wrong, farthest CO, and got moved to the closer one).
