Only thing to remember is that there are hundreds of thousands of cable internet users that all they do is check emails or facebook or do little things like that.

I've personally never run 500 gigs on my connection yet. And that is streaming 2-3 1080p movies, streaming about 10 hrs of music 5 days, gaming, and surfing the web.

Average could also be the average of the middle 90% of users. No regulation or oversight, so no way to know for sure.

That is of course saturating my link, and discarding any compression, which I noticed it does have.
