[DVR] Any setting to get full screen guide?
We have two 6416 DVR, both with 1.9.1 firmware, both on 1080i sets, Both seem very normal, both are showing full screen 1080i HD content.
One shows a full screen guide, and one still does not. The one that does was replaced recently (disk died), but both are 6416 models.
Is there some setting that affects this choice?
64** never had and never will have full screen HD guide. You need a 7*** series for that
Oops, my bad, sorry. That one is 7216 after all.

You should call support and complain that the 6416 does not show wide screen - leave out the menu part!!! Get it replaced with a 7216 or better yet pay the $40 and upgrade to the 7232 with 500G HD.

i don't even think you need to call anyone for that, the menu orders replacement set top boxes for the 6xxx series set top boxes.
so you go to menu>customer support>in home agent>set top box replacement.
it checks and if you have a 6200 or 6416 it offers you a free replacement. they usually send you the 7216 or 7100 models
