I tend to avoid the city as much as possible (not due to SFMTA!), but some of the descriptions of the busses (specifically rags being tired around hydraulic lines) I've personally seen. The rest is just downright scary. It makes me wish I could do something about it from a humanitarian/philanthropy standpoint (I'm not a mechanical engineer, machinist, or repair tech on stuff like this). I feel absolutely awful for the drivers and repair employees who have to put up with a completely outdated and just downright broken workplace.
To those of you up north who take SFTMA transit every day: ride safe my friends and always keep your eyes open.--
