Re: Foxconn? actually we're not getting that much OT. We're discussing why Amazon would even use a company such as Foxconn. And the Union is the reason. The Union is the reason why everything moves from the midwest. If the Union did NOT exist the Auto makers would NOT have fallen apart. They wouldn't have been paying $45+ to someone to put a sticker on the side of the door, or to put a cover over a screw or even drill a screw in.
This does NOT help the middle class- but hurts them when their job goes else where and they know NOTHING to get a new job because they've been babied in these factories since being 18 and are now in their 40s and 50s. and they value working for JEEP more than an education at a high valued, top preforming private universities in the United States.- even when their entire college career would be fully paid for by the University. |
