Wow, that car looks like it's body is in great shape. We use to see and hear them running up the road all the time in the late 80's and early 90's. Now we hardly ever see them.

Hope your repair is quick and not painfully costly.

I already bought a Motorcraft one today. It takes some really small Torx screws that I don't have a socket for so I'm going to borrow one tomorrow and have it back on the road tomorrow night.

I know you are out of the rust belt, but have you had any body work done to it? Looks pretty good. The few that are left around here that are not dedicated show queens are all rusted out.

Wait, that's a Mustang? It looks just like the Escort I drove in college.

Thanks, and I'm an equal opportunity hatermaker. If they don't like the 5.0, I let them get mad at the SS.

I always kept a spare TFI module in the glovebox and the tools to change it when my wife had a Lynx.

Many 7.3 Liter PowerStroke owners carry a spare cam position sensor and the tools to change it.

Back in the day, Mopar owners always had a spare ballast resistor and a screwdriver in the glovebox.

Just makes life easier when you have the parts on hand.

I prefer cars that don't need spare parts in the glove box...

Some spare parts will only fit in the trunk...

So, did you redo the interior as well?

Not yet. Carpet and recovering the seats is all it needs, though. Dash and door panels are in great shape.

TFI module replaced, no start issue fixed.
I must have knocked some shit loose somehow because now I am having surging idle issues. The IAC is coming off tonight for a soaking along with the MAF vanes.
