Palladia is inferior for two reasons:

1) Everything is recorded, no live concerts
2) More commercial breaks - AXSTV live concerts have no commercials

Censorship is lame, killing off the 'adult' shows is lame, but I have seen quite a few live concerts since the transition. If they keep up with the live performances more than HDNet did I think AXS.TV has real potential.

Although I have been hearing disturbing reports of them starting to use cell phone wireless technology for certain live shots; the old HDNet would have never stood for this low quality crap. As long as they keep the cell phone crap away from the actual concerts and continue to use vastly superior quality satellite uplinking for those parts it should be okay.

Get out! has been cancelled. Deadline Unrated has been cancelled and Deadline has been changed into a more family friendly show.
AXS TV is going to turn into another junk entertainment channel.

I got this response via e-mail from AXS TV about the censored concert audio,
"Iron Maiden show was not censored by AXS TV. It was played just as Iron Maiden delivered it to us.".

That is correct. Concerts were uncensored on HDNet.

Everything I have read is the uncensored versions of the shows will be gone. This is a merger with Ryan Seacrest so I expect a sanitized unwatchable channel that I will forget all about, kind of like when Comcast bought TechTV and turned it into G4.

Joe, they are going to have more concerts now. That's part of the new programming.

I watched some of a Rolling Stone concert and a Sting concert last night. But it was still called HDNet. I would certainly like to watch/listen to more.

I think you are correct. The HDNet movies web site has not changed but the HDNet site has not.
