Re: High-security first pet naming guidelines I realize this whole thing was way off topic. It was never about whether cats know their names (my wife always said a cat had a secret name that nobody else knows), but whether you or I could remember a first pet's name as a hint for password recovery. I think I'd have trouble with that now. Now if I knew one of those secret cat names, maybe that would be a good hint.
