What, if any, inbound/outbound issues will this amplifier have with the qam audio/video stream.

I am correcting signal strength issues due to length of run and number of splits.

Someone who doesn't know, orders bigger than they need and doesn't mind paying alittle more to have expandablitiy.

In short just a stupid user trying to resolve the issues he has.

Here is the url to the pdf specs: »www.mjsales.net/pdf/CA-301000.pdf

It'll kill upstream signal from 5-45 Mhz. So no HSI, phone, VOD, etc.

Cable boxes may not activate without a usable upstream path.

What are your input signal levels, length of runs, number of splits, and type of cabling?

As gar187er and DrDrew have said, this is not the type of amp for use in a home.

An amp should not be used to compensate for poor signal levels coming into a home, or for low-quality coax cables/connectors and splitters.

While it's always best to avoid using an amp, if one is needed to overcome long cable runs and a large number of splits, as you say, then see this previous thread for ideas: »[DVR] Which AMP to use
