What, if any, inbound/outbound issues will this amplifier have with the qam audio/video stream.
I am correcting signal strength issues due to length of run and number of splits.

Cable boxes may not activate without a usable upstream path.
What are your input signal levels, length of runs, number of splits, and type of cabling? |

An amp should not be used to compensate for poor signal levels coming into a home, or for low-quality coax cables/connectors and splitters.
While it's always best to avoid using an amp, if one is needed to overcome long cable runs and a large number of splits, as you say, then see this previous thread for ideas: »[DVR] Which AMP to use |
