I currently have a Fios Triple bundle. I would like to get directv with fios internet and phone. Can I order this as a bundle or will I have to order DirecTV and Fios separately? DirecTV has said they will pay my ETF for my current fios bundle.
No Verizon will not bundle DTV where they have FiOS with a Video franchise agreement.
I don't even believe the will sell it in areas that have FiOS period.
I have both DTV minimum Spanish package, and Fios Tripple Play. Everyone complains about the Spanish that FiOS has. Well I will tell you, it has everything except what my wife wants. Isn't that always the case?
Like the HD that are in Prime and Ultimate, but missing from Extreme.
There is no way in *** that I would get Verizon and Directv mixed together. If they are going to pay your ETF, it is not because they are best friends.
reply to sdpadres I still remember when I had DirecTV from 2001 to 2007. I paid more each month just for TV from DirecTV than I do now for DV, 35/35 internet, and Ultimate HD. Plus I get more channels from FiOS than I did from DirecTV back then.
EDIT: At least now it looks like you get a discount for signing up for two years from DirecTV. So at least their prices are lower than they used to be. I only went to DirecTV back in 2001 for the little HD they had since Comcast was dragging their feet to start offering HD. Then I found out about TiVo. And I would have never left DirecTV if they hadn't made the decision to kill off the TiVo. So then I left for Comcast in 2006 and finally dropped DirecTV in mid 2007. Then Got FiOS in 2007 and now I couldn't imagine going back to DirecTV again. Yet if they would have never screwed over my TiVo services I would have never considered leaving for anyone else.
