There is a yum update for the linux machines available. Just updated foldy1 blade 3.

Yup, same kernel I came up with. It's also Windows update time.

New update today

yum -y update

Got it, thanks Bill. Upon reboot I lost the DNS server setting again. Seems to not stick after a reboot. Got it fixed again per your instructions from before though.

Are your DNS servers not listed in /etc/resolv.conf ?

They are now again since I put them back but after a reboot, they disappear for some reason.

I've never seen a linux box do that... just because I'm curious, what do you get if you do a
ls -al /etc/resolv.conf

its ok had a typo in the cmd. whew!! Think this will make it stick?

If it doesn't, it's gonna be time for me to break out the Unix SYS V networking manuals to find out what's up...
