Geek grocery shopping = 'sudo yum update'

All 5 foldy2 blades have been updated (just libtiff for them, though) -- Boone County Scanner Feed: »boone.mo.scanamerica.us/

Got it, thanks Bill. Upon reboot I lost the DNS server setting again. Seems to not stick after a reboot. Got it fixed again per your instructions from before though. |

|
jaynicklit upPremium join:2001-02-06 Sterling Heights, MI kudos:2 | They are now again since I put them back but after a reboot, they disappear for some reason. |
|
alphapointeDon't Touch MePremium,MVM join:2002-02-10 Columbia, MO kudos:2 | I've never seen a linux box do that... just because I'm curious, what do you get if you do a ls -al /etc/resolv.conf -- "When the hammer drops, the bullshit stops" |

| Very, very strange... Everything is as it should be...
Never seen it before in the 15 years I've been playing with *nix...
Although I've never seen the "Generated by NetworkManager" line either...
You might try putting these lines at the end of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
