Check your condenser coils (usually in the rear) for dirt, dust and/or debris.

Is the box cold?

1st put a thermometer in the freezer. It should read about 0. If you don't have 1 go beg borrow or, well you know.

I doubt it has been running 5 days straight or the motor would have fried (or something something).

Maybe it's just very noisy and you're noticing it a lot.

Yes

I have been cycling it manually.

By manually, you mean raising the minimum set temperature in the fridge then turning it back down?

If you left it running, would it get TOO cold?

MAYBE you're due for a defrosting.

I call those "Refrigerator reboots".

if it's been extra hot in your house, it'll run much longer.

"all the way off"

no frost anywhere
defroster still works

I been turning off at night so i can sleep (fan is too noisy as it's vibrating) I have hyper sensitive hearing. so my environment has to be dead quiet so I can get to sleep.

I think it may have gotten damaged when it was dropped while moving.

also the seals seem to be going bad as well

I think it would just be cheaper to get a new one then fix it.

I just cleaned it out right now.

Were the coils clean? Newer models have the coil under the bottom, and can be seen/cleaned from the front after removing the lower panel.

My frig made noise, it was the fan, so I bought one 5 days ago and the fan noise stopped the same day I got the new fan!
Now I have a new fan and a quiet frig!

Stop messing with it! Make sure you have a reasonable amount of stuff it in (put in some gallon bottles filled with water if you have to), then leave it alone! Don't open the door so much. Let it run. It's normal for it to run longer when it's hot. It will turn off.

Are you here just ranting or do you want troubleshooting advise? If this is just a rant, there is a forum for that. Otherwise do as mityfowl See Profile suggested at the beginning of the thread and put a thermometer in the freezer. Then put it in the fridge part. Post both readings. Make sure that it has been running at least 12 hours without opening the door before doing this. Post the temps of both and also post the model number of the appliance.

Wasn't really broken then. You just didn't maintain and clean the unit.
