Re: [Speed] Suddenlink Cable internet Lag

Here is an update:

A SL technician came out at the request of the Online SL Tech support in Tyler Tx due to me calling with bad enough problems I could not Play the PS3 due to lag. HE saw numerous data correction errors on my line that were not happening and said I need the outside line replaced. And to remove the excessive splitters that SL Tech's had put on.

We powered up the PS3 and checked the online speed test tool and I was not even getting 1 meg down load or upload. We tried and tried but no good. So we took the PS3 off of the Manual setup and put it back on Automatic with the exception of the UPnP disabled. It went back up to the previous settings I was getting from 6-7 mg unload. Then up to about 11 mg and this morning at 7:30 am it was 11 mg and now at 8:30 it is back down to 8.6Mbps!

The games did seem to be better but I did not get to try very much so I am going to check on it today.

So this means I have all new lines and modem! what can happen not! Ha Ha!
