New U Verse user - service goes out every morning I'm hoping this is a known issue - we've had U verse less than two weeks, and starting last friday, our router drops every morning around 5:30 am, and won't come back up until after 3:30, even with a hard reset. We've had a tech out, but she told my wife we needed to have a new line run to the house, and now won't answer our calls. Any suggestions?
Allegedly, we are having a new line run sometime tomorrow between 8 and 8. I remain skeptical. Still no return call from the tech who, when she came out to our house the first time, gave us her number and said she would take care of us. She also told us she had submitted a ticket for the outside line - she hadn't.
Is your service wire fed aerial from a pole, or buried from a pedestal?
If aerial, the tech that came out should have replaced that line.
If buried, a ticket might have to be generated for the buried wire center to lay the line, if an above ground temporary could not be placed (typically due to needing bored, across sidewalks/roads/driveways, across a neighbor's yard, etc)
