| Upload Speed Since installation of the Xplornet sat service a month ago, my upload speed had gone from 660kbps to 500, to 300, to 120. Download still holds easy at 5mb/s. I wanted the service for a dsl like upload speed, where 5mb or 3mb down was not an issue. Of course they advertise 750kbps for the upload on the MAx package. |

| Upload speed has remained fairly consistent around 400 kbps on the 'spot beam' that feeds Eastern Ontario. There was a slowdown on both upload and download streams from July 1 to 12. I am now using the JD Automated Speed Tester '»www.gmwsoftware.co.uk/' in addition to Testmy.net. |
