Bellsouth, are you still capping the 480 kbps upload speed?
Is Bellsouth still capping the 480 kbps upload speed?
Sprint just turn on 4G LTE within few hours ago in Atlanta and I am getting avg of 12 mbps download and 6 mbps upload. I know ATT Wireless and Verizon already have theirs.
That is why I was thinking of the former Bellsouth.
I think Bellsouth should move on and stop capping the upload speed. I think DSL is dead.
They should just charge $10 a month now!
Wireless is the future.

Actually, the upstream sync rate is 512kbps, if you are/were getting 480kbps, you have/had a problem with your connection.
And FYI, that 512kbps upstream sync rate now appears to be the value used for legacy SBC DSL customers as well: »Re: Why does AT&T have slower speed packages?
However, if you like wireless better, then by all means switch to using wireless. And I am happy to hear that you are now wealthy enough to continue to "download the Internet" using a wireless connection.
