[BC] High Speed bandwidth caps?

Might be moving to the sunshine coast from Port Alberni
Here in Port shaw offers broadband 250, so bandwidth caps and speeds are not really an issue, but shaw is not on the sunshine coast so whether I move or not depends on Telus' High Speed (1.5-6.0mbps) bandwidth caps?

The brief bit of reading that I've done states it is 30GB which is is about 100gb too low for me
Is this correct, or (since it was posted in 2009) is it outdated information?

Outdated. The website now lists the cap for that plan at 150gb.

AFAIK they aren't even enforcing it.

What I recall from bandwidth enforcement with telus is that they hadn't flipped on monitor once they upgraded to ADSL2+ and VDSL. However they did have it flipped on for the old ADSL1 (sorry i forget the technical name of the old dsl tech). No one has come into this forum in a long time to complain about cap enforcement so I'm guessing you'd be in the clear. From what I remember though the old adsl1 service was the only one that actually had functioning bandwidth usage being monitored?

Everything is monitored, just not enforced.
