I do, it's for my kids.

I do. Got it for the wifey for exercise and dance games. It joined the Wii in collecting dust (which we bought for the same reason).

I used mine a lot back in my old house in a carpeted room. Now I have hardwood floors. My fat ass now wobbles my 55" from about 15 feet away. I'm too afraid to play it now...

I have one.

I was asked what I wanted for christman and knew anything I actually wanted I wouldn't get so I asked for something I was interested in trying.

after I found that with it on my MP4 file son my flash drive would get jittery with it on I've had it turned off, also found my room to be to small to really use it.

It's a great idea in principle, but I have two problems with it...

One, it needs wayyyy too much room to operate. Given my consoles are in my bedroom, I'd practically need to include the cost of the Nyko Zoom adaptor just so it'd let me use it in my own personal space.

Second, there's yet to really be a significant enough number of games I'd want to use it for. Child of Eden is a possibility, since it is the successor to Rez. However, one game alone doesn't really justify spending that much on it.

Then there was that whole rumored "kinect kills older 360's" thing going on.

i heard that it records you while you play the games is that true ?

It does record but it doesn't upload anything unless you want it to. I was playing the fee download game haunt and in one of the rooms it had a projector playing and on the screen it was me looking like a moron playing kinect LOL. I enjoy the kinect since Xbox does give out a lot of free games. I probably only use it a few times a month. More than I can say for my Wii.

It was pretty popular when it came out... it even set sales records.. I was pretty much in the same boat as DarkLogix and asked for it for Christmas because I didnt know anything else I wanted. I wanted to try the Kinect...I played it for about a month (mainly the Bowling and Table tennis). Since then its just been collecting dust. Im thinking about selling it. It seems to only really be entertaining for parties or just when you have a couple of friends over.

I was itching to buy an XBox and Kinect but will wait next year when (hopefully) Sony and Microsoft debut their new systems and the Wii U shows it's true colours.

It's a great idea but I'm not sure the implementation is all there. Then again I've played 1 game on it.

I bought it for my kids last Christmas. We all played it for a day at my parents house... Packed it up, took it home and didn't connect it to my xbox until last week haha. The kids have been playing it every day since then. More games out now that are better optimized. I'd recommend it for kids or as a previous poster said, for parties.
