Nah, I went searching for it a few years back; it originally came with the WoW Collector's Edition. As in...the original WoW.

I can find a few collector's editions, but they're INSANELY expensive, and most don't even come with the pet. Which is the SOLE reason I want the CE.

btw I haven't played pokemon in years, lost interest when I beat gold/silver in scramble (japanese + emulator + some missing words)

Just using the pictures (which also got scrambled sometimes) I was able to guess well enough to beat the trainer named red.

I would have tried catching more of them but with the scrambledness it was hard to tell how many I had.

Every so often on a weekend players would gather at another players house. There they'd watch tamed and trained chickens battle it out. The losers would be cooked for the players to eat.

Note: A pet that dies has a "spirit". As long as there is someone with high enough taming, the pet can be rezzed [brought back to life]. The old dead body is no longer needed so it is cooked or feed to other pets. Things like Dragons, Frenzied osterds.

This might be something that is interesting to me. More so then "end game", dungeon crawling, PvPer, crafting...

And, it's title is misleading. They're calling this "pet battles", but it's actually companions doing the battling, not hunter pets.

BTW which blizzcon was grunty from? if you say 2011 I'll be ticked because I have it on my DVR (ie I paid for it) but never got the code for the pet.

Come on, dude. Grunty wears a space suit and shoots RPGs, he is definitely a BOSS.

But seriously, I would give this a go. It's going to be in game, going to have no impact on people who don't want to do it, will cost next to nothing, and will give me something to do instead of troll trade chat.

I guess the cool part is that it will have no effect what-so-ever on guys that don't want to participate. If the implementation of it were to increase my monthly subscription I would have an issue. But since it's free, I won't complain a bit.

I had ordered cata collector's edition but then bought it via the blizz store because the CE hadn't been delivered yet, when it arrived I added the CE code and gained the pet ect.
