Re: [Eastern Ontario] Any torrent downloads @ any speed always s Well, first of all make sure you're forwarding the port you're using on your router to the PC that you're torrenting with a firewall exception. That's critical.
The only way I could get uTorrent to transfer somewhat decently was to set the following:
- under Bandwidth | Number of Connections
Global maximum number of connections: 2000
Maximum number of connected peers per torrent: 100
- under Queueing | Queue Settings
Maximum number of active torrents (upload or download): 500
Maximum number of active downloads: 100
How well that works is also dependant on your system but that's what works great with me with uTorrent. Setting some of those numbers too high might break things on you. I download torrents at my full capacity. |
