2 edits | [CA] lost connectivity / huge packet loss Hi, I'm in San Diego, been using Cox 10 months at this location without much problems, but over the last week or so things have been deteriorating and I can't pinpoint why.
My connection will be fine but then suddenly I'll begin getting anywhere from 20% to 100% packet loss and my connection will choke hard, ruining whatever gaming or skype calls I am in. I often have to manually reset the modem to get service back.
Upstream power level gets as low as 30-31.
Time for a new modem, or something else? Pretty frustrated.
