Dearborn WOW Service
Has anyone else been experiencing outages over the last few weeks. My modem keeps rebooting. I replaced my modem and now I'm wondering if it's my Ooma phone or just WOW service. They keep telling me everything looks fine from their end. I'm in the Southfield and Outer Drive area.
I live in the Telegraph-Carlysle area. Have not had any problems for a long time. (except for a recent Edison service interruption).
I have found WOW service exceptional - call them to fix it.
They may spot where the problem is.

I had some issues about two days ago (downriver, MI). I have had generally subpar service whenever I call. I generally have far more technical knowledge of the issue at hand but have to argue with level 1/2 support to just pass me through, and that resetting my gateway configuration isn't a valid resolution.

I'm in Columbus.
About 6 weeks ago, my modem would reboot itself 3+ times a day or I would lose my internet connection and would have to reboot it manually. I wouldn't lose cable TV during this.
After a few days of this, I exchanged it a my local WOW office. The new modem then rebooted itself a few times over the next day or two and now has been stable since.
So, I don't think it was totally my orignial modem?
I had made a couple of calls to customer service before the exchange and they said they could see nothing on their end.
The past 8 months or more my TV signal stregth has deteriorated some also.
The last 3-4 time I've called customer service during the past 8 months, I was on hold 10-15 minutes before talking to a human. It was never more than a couple of minutes wait for the 8 years before that.
For me WOW is a good value for the price, but I'm considering other options for the first time in 8 years.
Your cable line is probably shot, have a tech check signal strength to modem. If that is the case, doesn't matter if you have God Himself supply you with programming, you'll experience the same issues. Best of luck.
