| [connectivity] Mail Issues? Anyone else having trouble connecting to VZ mail, both POP/SMTP and webmail? Was working fine until about 20 minutes ago. Downtown DC here. Not the end of the world for me since I only use the VZ addy for newsletters and listservs but there are a few things I was following this morning. -- "Dance like the photo isn't being tagged; love like you've never been unfriended; and tweet like nobody is following." |

| Yeah, it's hanging on auth. They probably forgot to give their hamsters water. Or the dc where their authboxen live could be having power issues. I hear ConEd is on strike and there are some problems. -- "Dance like the photo isn't being tagged; love like you've never been unfriended; and tweet like nobody is following." |

God, you better hope not. |

| Is it one of those IT Departments or shops that re-image for every problem? :P Pretty common trend around this area since it's quicker and puts the burden on the user to get their stuff back. The computer shops seem to do it a ton, too. Guess they all got tired of the same problems or even new problems happening |

I've seen complaints from AT&T uses, and now Frontier, as well, regarding troubles with outsourced ISP accounts on Yahoo! servers. I think I will scrounge the AT&T forums for the links. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

 | Thanks for seeing what you can find out. I have managed to find my email using the web based but I use Windows Live Mail and can't seem to make it work no matter what I do....sigh....as was mentioned earlier, I CAN access my sub accounts with the exact same settings but not my main account. I even went as far as to reset my email password and tried that but without success..... |
