| FiOptics ZTE router gaming issue! My GF and I just bought a house NKY and got FiOptics installed. Everything works fine besides my gaming. I cannot connect to anyone because it says my NAT type is moderate. I read that it is probably the garbage ZTE router. It is a modem/router combo. Can this be replaced with my own modem/router combo? If so do you know the modem login and password? I am not the most networking savvy person any feedback will help. |

| The ZyXel VDSL modem can certainly be used in bridge mode and I suspect that a ZTE versuon can too - but if you have the TV service your router would have to support multicast which is used for the TV service.
Perhaps looking for a DMZ option on the ZTE modem and seeing if you can use your existing router as the DMZ device might be easier. |
