 | Sprint needs to manage expectations better They should just turn sites on and let users use them before announcing a market. It would alter the expectations to what's coming rather than setting expectations too high with full coverage. They shouldn't officially announce a market until it's at least 50% covered like Verizon does.
Speed is great where I get it but they have a ways to go to cover downtown/midtown KC well. Ping is awesome, sometimes below 40ms. 3G performance also improved to about as fast as EVDO can go. |

 | Sprint is announcing markets at 40% completion. |
 | Hmm.. I question that. Maybe 10% of downtown/midtown KC have LTE. |
 | AFAIK it's 40% but it may be less due to such high demand from customers. |
 | reply to xenophon 40% completion is in reference to the number of cell sites, not coverage area. |

 | said by ydoucare:40% completion is in reference to the number of cell sites, not coverage area. I question that too. There are a bunch of cell sites in downtown KC but it appears only 1 site has LTE. Same with Plaza area, appears to be only 1 site. |

 | Which phone do you have? |
 | sg3, but that's an old post. Most of midtown/downtown KC now have LTE so Sprint is indeed expanding. |
 | Okay, I figured you had the EVO LTE which has a lot of problems connecting to LTE. |
