Took 2 attempts for players to understand Shadow Traps and killed him on the 3rd try.

but trying to keep the priest on kamimdor, at the end of the day's questing I have it use FP to go back to darnassus because those fishing/cooking dailies are less annoying and during the week I only do those 2 dailies on the priest.

Then hearth to the current quest zone at the start of the weekend's questing for the day.

The IF fishing/cooking dailies are the most annoying of the 3 ally cities.

a few of the IF ones require going to the far end of the zone to get to a small lake so without flying it would be a PITA

The SW ones can be annoying but not nearly as much.

The Darnassus ones are great.

I've leveled the priest more than 10levels just via those 2 dailies. Of course its full BoA (sort of the ring)

Yes, I realize it is a completely unnecessary item which does not make my gameplay any more optimal. However - the turbocharged flying machine has a HULA GIRL DOLL on the dash. That cannot be ignored. Plus, like I said - it was kind of fun to do some low-pressure farming for awhile, rather than racing 3 other guys to the same pyrite node in Uldum.

I usually pop a potion, Orc racial, then Wolves on pull. Then I have no DPS cds on first black phase. Then I use Orc racial and Wolves again on second black phase. Sometimes I pot then too and if we have good dps I will Blood Lust at that time as well. If not, I Blust and Pot in 3rd black phase, and usually am able to get one more set of wolves in that are usually standing next to me when Zon'ozz goes down.

It sucks cause time between black phases is usually just under my cooldown timers.

I got into the weirdest PUG last night...it was a hybrid of the two groups. Well, the adolescent Priest from night #2, Blood DK from group #2, Warrior tank from group #1, and Paladin healer from group #1.

Three or four of the other guys were from an old guild of mine that wasn't too bad at raiding back in Feb/March when I was in it, so we faired pretty well once we got things set up.

I got the Agi trinket from Spine and finally my first ilvl403 No'Kaled off Madness.

A Rogue from the old guild also finished his legendary questline, which was pretty cool.

Zon'ozz DPS is so dependent on the rest of the DPS, because you do more damage the longer it goes. You might've only done 40k DPS if the rest of the raid was closer to par with you.

I always have a hard time deciding when to Reck on that fight. Usually third black phase, but sometimes the fight ends mid-reck because people are too good that time round.

It's a conundrum.

It seems like I've run across several people like this recently, luckily most are in LFR. The fights in DS vary so wildly it is hard for me, as a melee DPS, to gauge my performance by looking at my average.

I know yesterday in LFR I did 51k on Warlord Zonozz. As far as I know, that's pretty damn good for 390 item level. (the next melee was 43k)

My hunter is not elite by any definition, but decently geared - I'm ilvl 387, 5-piece T13 all from LFR, gems/enchants. Plus I play as marksman, which isn't even "optimal" spec (Survival is, but I suck at survival, so there you go). I average about 24k dps when I run in LFR, and that's over the entire raid. Single-target numbers, I'm usually up around 32-35k dps. I literally cannot understand how any hunter (or ANY dps for that matter) could step into a normal DS raid and do less than 15k dps. All I can figure is that they refuse to bind any attacks to the number/function keys, and are instead heading to the spellbook to manually click their attacks.

But stories like this are what I get for stopping at the time I stopped (early March), and wanting to get back in now. When I quit raiding very few people were 8/8H. Better semi-casual guilds were 6/8H, most were 4 or 5/8H.

Now I think there are about 60 guilds on my server that are 8/8H. These guys aren't raiding now, and the guys that are raiding couldn't hack it with the others. So, I'm stuck in limbo between the haves and have-nots.

We zone in and we fly through the first 4 bosses even though we have 2 really undergeared mages. Myself, a Rogue, and a Hunter from the guild hosting the run are carrying the DPS weight. Everyone is having a good ol' time and things are going well until we get to Ultraxion. At this point, the Pally offtank disconnects continuosly and the Magi are blowing out recount with sub-20k performances. Myself and the Rogue are over the 30k mark, and the Hunter might be if he didn't die...repeatedly.

Finally, after 4 wipes, we down this stupid bitch (keep in mind this is on normal). But only after 7/10 die and I have to Reincarnate with her at 10% health and blow cooldowns to stay alive/put out the dps needed not to wipe again.

We move to Warmaster. Simple fight, right? WRONG! The tanks can't keep the adds together so they can be cleaved, they are taunting randomly causing them to spin around in circles, and no one wants to kill the fucking Sappers but me and the Rogue. We wipe here twice...which, in my opinion should never be the case. Warmaster Blackhorn, on normal mode, is the easiest fight in the raid.

Then we move to Spine, good ol' Spine. Apparently the guy leading the raid thought we all came equipped with ESP since he elected to start the encounter without so much as speaking in vent. I mean the strat is pretty easy and if we had raided together before could go without saying. But, in this scenario, it should probably be gone over briefly, if not ad nauseum. I mean, I didn't think anyone took 8 attempts to down Ultraxion and Warmaster since February. We jump down, and everyone is killing every corruption, people don't get secured in time, and half the raid is flung off, plummeting to an icy death below. THANK GOD that when we respawn the raid leader has, "Guild issues that need emergency attention.", and has to leave. Well, since half the idiots in the raid were from his guild, and 80% of them were mouth breathing retards they left too. Needless to say, this group fell apart.

So, try again the next day, right? FML. I find a buddy of mine who plays a Boomkin that is looking for a Spine + Madness run also, so they two of us team up and look for a group to join. After about 15 minutes of posting in trade we find another guy that needs the final two so we team up and start filling the group. Neither myself nor my buddy want to lead this shindig, so the Priest rogers up that he will lead. Awesome, except he sounds like a prepubescent girl. It takes us another 20 or so minutes to fill our group. When we summon, our Mage says, "No one told me this wasn't fresh...good luck.". Fuck, back down to nine. He is replaced very quickly with a Warlock, almost too quickly...come to find out, definitely too quickly. We get everyone to the deck of the boat, and I tell the 9 year old raid leader to make sure he goes over the strat in vent, "just in case". Well, about 45 seconds into the encounter we find out that neither the Warlock nor the Hunter have no fucking clue what they are doing, as proven by the fact that they stand in the middle of Deathwing's back and continue to pewpew despite the big blue text on their screen, the British lady counting down from five, and the pop up box with their names in it under the heading "Not secured". This same scenario happens 3 times. And I honestly should be happy that it did, since I was just north of 21k dps, my Boomkin buddy was just south of 19k, and the DK tank was next at 11k. Overall my PUG experience sucked ass this week, and that isn't even counting that I didn't roll double digits for anything that dropped that I could use. At least I got my resto spec hashed out and pieced together a hodgepodge set of gear so I can start healing a little here and there.

Last week I just bought a XFX 6870 2GB card. I run everything on high with 8x AA.

I recommend a closed loop CPU water cooler for sure. Make things nice and quiet and cool.

He is inflicting 40,000 points of crying damage, per second. This cannot be healed through.

My wife jumps on the nephew/baby grenade, and tells my oldest son (12 years old, occasionally plays WoW but no dungeons or instances): "Ray, take over." She leaves the room, and I type in /p "Ray is now playing Heather's hunter. This should be fun." However, trash goes down, and boss #3 (prophet whatsisname) goes down with no issues. We ride the whirlwind up to Siamat, and although the adds go down slower than usual, the instance is finished with no deaths and no major issues. I am favorably impressed. His DPS wasn't great, but he didn't stand in the bad, he shot what he was supposed to shoot, and did well enough overall that he wouldn't have been kicked out of a PuG.

It's the absolute shit. My Athlon II x2 245 Regor is overclocked from 2.9 to 3.65 GHz. Prior to the CM212+, I was idling at 41c, now I idle at 25c; I was seeing temps just below or at 70c under full load, now those temps are under 40c...it's the best 20 bucks I've ever spent on a computer.

With overclocking my computer and tweaking my graphics settings in game, I've doubled my FPS while not sacrificing any graphics quality.

Next step is to get a beefier PSU and a shiny new graphics card...thinking either GTX 560 or Radeon HD 6870. New CPU will be coming in the next couple months.
