Cogeco → [Cable TV] Cogeco outage update from Facebook.

I saw this on my Facebook page and I went to check it out but the TV seems to be working.

[Update] We are currently experiencing a Cable TV outage. Technicians are currently investigating the issue and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

Anyone having any issues with their TV service?

IMHO it seems like they have outages WAY to often. But I do like them posting the outages via Facebook.

Yea, that's actually pretty cool, never saw it before.

I bookmarked »cogeco.ca/web/on/en/resi ··· ages.php on my phone so I can check if I or friends have issues but Facebook is another alternative.

What time did you see that on Facebook Robman50, and does it list area?

Curious if it's more up to date than the outages page.

Not sure if it was everyone but for me it just linked me to the outages page and that said this:

We are currently experiencing a problem with multiple digital cable channels showing a black screen/off-air system wide. We are working to restore these services as quickly as possible.

This came up on the Cogeco Facebook page for last Tuesday.

[Update] There was a momentary issue with a network switch in one of our technical location.

The problem has been remediated and all channels restored.

A lot of people said it was not fixed.

Since yesterday, TV, Internet, phone all continually going off hook here in Sarnia.
