Re: SB6120 Firmware Updated (7/19/12) I had to reboot my SB6121 modem today, but it still shows the same old "SB612X-1.0.3.3-SCM00-NOSH" version here (Monmouth County, NJ) though. 
I thought there was a good chance I would get the new firmware, as Mike Wolf, who is just south of me in the Toms River/Ocean County, NJ system, has said his modem got it. |

Got it here in Monmouth County, NJ now.
My neighborhood had a 1 1/2 hour power outage overnight, exhausting the UPS my SB6121 was on. When power was restored and the modem booted up, the new firmware was downloaded to it. 
Except for the new "Open Source" tab and those new error messages in the log like everyone else has reported, the operation and performance of the modem appears to be the same. |
