This is interesting, depending on how you can watch live tv on it, could be a nice alternative to renting an STB box. |

 | reply to city318 What year is your Samsung Bluray Player? Mine might be too old to get it, I think. Also, I wonder if Samsung TV's have this app, as well. And what was the name of the app? Was it "FiOS TV?"
Finally, does the app Have 26 channels, and 10,000 VOD titles? Or can you watch ALL that you are subscribed to?
Thanks |

 | reply to city318 Live TV and FlexView, not all channels though just 26...could be nice alternative for kid's room...I bought my bluray last month 6500 model... |
|
 | reply to city318 Wonder if they came to their Galaxy devices? |
|
 | reply to city318 Mine BluRay is a 2010 C6900, which is 3D. So I doubt that it will receive that app. My 3DTV is 2010 as well, UN55C8000. Both are probably too old technology wise to get it. But here's hoping.
But if anyone can confirm that the FiOS App will work on 2010 models, It would be much appreciated.
Thanks |

|
 | That is good to know. I know that I would have never found that out. I def would have thought Only 2012 models of Samsung BluRay Players and TVs were eligible. MAybe my sister can get the TV App then. She has a 2011 TV.
Thanks nycdave |

|
 | A what I can tell, Even though HBO Go is on 2010 and 2011 Samsung Smart TVs, the 2012 models say " Coming soon." As of July 13th.
here is a link to a page I found that has All apps and All TV Brands.

I hope this helps a bit. |

 | reply to city318 I have a 2011 Smart TV from Samsung but I can't find the FiOS TV app listed. Where in the Smart Hub listing did you find it? Is there a category like "video" or "information" that I should be looking under? |
|

Try to install an iOS app on your droid. |
|
 | reply to city318 Actually I have written quite a few. Going from iOS to anything I would agree is a climb thanks to Apple's nonsense, but they've already ported it to the XBOX and now some Samsung devices. So it's clearly portable. The brains of it at least. The range of devices on Android makes it make sense. |
