Got shammed to new pricing tier

Currently have 2 ips connected with both of them turbo 15/1, called twc to see if extreme docsis 3.0 was available in my area yet , the twc lady told me it was and since i was a long term customer i could upgrade to extreme docsis 3.0 for 9.99 a month for each ip.. i drove to twc office picked up 2 docsis3.0 modems got home hooked them up and found no bounding channels called twc and they couldnt figure it out so they scheduled a tech for the next day . waited 5 hours for tech to show up and he discovered that docsis 3.0 is not available in my area yet .called back into twc to get the pricing adjusted back to turbo plan and they told me that i am on the new pricing tier , so basically they sold me a service that did not exist and when i tried to go back to the existing plan their was a $30.00 a month increase ... what a waste of my time and now my money ! after 10 plus hours on the phone with them , 5 hours waiting on the tech and i get to pay extra 30.00 a month WOW

Have you tried contacting a local franchising authority? If that's not applicable it's time to call the top person in the market or the CEO. Incompetence is more likely than ill will, and they should take responsibility and fix it. Good luck and post back ...

Reminds me of my first encounter with TWC. I moved to a new area this year and got RR for the first time. I called an 800 number and set it up with the lady. I won't go into all the things she said but when she got to the part about paying the installer in cash, I knew I was in for an adventure. The installer showed up when he was supposed to and the first thing out of his mouth was "She told you to pay me in cash, right". He then proceded to tell me about all the other ridiculous things people are told on the phone. We had a good laugh, he did his thing and he left saying that TWC would bill me sometime in the future. It took them a month and a half!

In beginning of RR in NYC they used subcontractors. Real mess. Still was better than DSL for reliability, at first that is. Expect all kinds of woes.

Did you ever get this resolved? Do you have bonded channels yet?
