Not really an office but this is what I did this week
A webcam on a pier on a river
Got tasked with installed a webcam on a pier on a river to record a new bridge being constructed. No power so we had to do solar. 5 panels, close to 1000watts. 4 large batteries. I had to reengineer the whole thing to make it secure. It is bolted to the sheeting around the outside, clamped to the rail, concreted anchors all around and lots of bracing. Very happy with the way it turned out.
reply to themagicone Well the problem is that they face south. There is nothing but open water to the north. Any wind that pick ups just gains speed over the water and those things are like giant sails. We had it up there without the front bracing down to the ground and the whole thing was just shaking in a 5mph breeze. Now with the extra front bracing they are really secure.
