3 months ago i received a promo from bell internet in the mail. 25 down 7 up 100 gb usage 50% off. when i checked bell webpage, the deal was a lot better than the existing package online at the time. so i signed up and thought: lucky me, what a steal (silly me)
well, what do i know. after 1 month i signed up, the same deal appeared on the internet, but only this time with better upload speed and usage.
so i called bell, and asked why isnt my service updated? they tells me well because its now a completely difference service and its only available to new customers. so they mail me a promo right before they were planning on changing to a better deal. coincidence?
i mean am i overreacting or is this just bad business practice. what will they do had they decrease the usage and speed, would existing customer be affected then? |
