Flash 11.3.300.268

Looks like Flash for Windows got an update to v11.3.300.268. Adobe also released v11.3.31.306 for those running PPAPI chrome such as Chrome Canary.

»get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Enjoy!

At the moment, Chrome hasn't updated yet. Probably will soon.

Also, remember to uncheck those pesky toolbar options when offered to you on the download page if you don't want 'em installed.

After the first fiasco with Flash 11.3 and Firefox I no longer update Flash without some hesitation.

Looks like this a bug fix only. .262 is working well in my PC's so I'm passing on this version also.

Wondering why Chrome hasn't released new version yet? They always do when flash updates...

I guess the Chrome team is all on vacation. Still no update of Chrome that includes the new version of flash. Odd because sometimes they release their new version of Chrome before the actual flash update that goes out to everyone else.

Since there aren't any security fixes in this update and flash 11.3.300.257 seems to be running fine on my computers, I'll pass on this one also.

Sincerely, Libra

Chrome might change over to PPAPI in the next version. I know Canary builds now use PPAPI flash which does have it's issues, but it is getting there. PPAPI is also the only way to get flash versions newer than 11.2 on Linux.
