Rojo join:2009-04-14 New York, NY kudos:1 | $10 bucks out the window So you register, pay your ten bucks, and... your 'fiberhood' (cute) isn't selected because not enough people paid.
Does Google then give you your $10 back? |

I don't speak for the company.. but they seemed to have wired the ENTIRE "CITY" for fiber.. the decision NOT to (eventually) get to you even for the "FREE" service is a bad PR on google's part.. no dobut, they'll keep bombarding you with the upsell for the 7 years.. even as you're paying the $25 for one year ($300 fee in 12 installments) for 5/1 internet. Maybe they should have cut the price to $120 and tell the freeloaders to pay $10 a month.. they'd definitely get alot more flies with that honey. I think the $10 also goes towards any svc fee.. ie the $300 fee bcomes $290... |
