[DVR] Re-enable external on dvr after power outage
Recently ran into a problem with my dvr - we lost power on sunday for a few hours. We have mrdvr but keep the dvr in the basement so the physical box doesnt get used daily but frequently. Anyway I noticed today that since the outage the box has not recorded onto the external dvr. First I had to power up the box and received the intial download screen. After that I had to do the reinitialize to reconnect the external drive. Prior to the power on also, every time i tried to set a recording - the recording would not process, only established recording prior to the outage ended up getting recorded.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Shouldn't the dvr restart no issues after a power failure?
External drive seems to have gone away - It was working when I left town - now the web access shows the internal drive is almost full and no reference to external drive -
Im not home so I cant go through menus to reenable the esata drive I tried the in home agent from my home PC via remote control but it doesnt help with the Esata issue
