MWats @comcast.net	MWats Anon 2012-Jul-27 12:45 am [Speed] 25kbps upload speeds I recently had a new gaming computer built. ASUS board, 16 G's of ddr, I7 chip set, Nvidia 690 card, 1000 watt supply. Its been up and running for 1 week. I went from 5-6 MBPS to 25 Kbps overnight. I wired up my old computer today and I'm getting 5-6 MBPS on it using same modem. How is this possible?

Or have you confirmed you got 5-6 Mbps down a day ago on the new Asus motherboard? My best guess is that you have iControl enabled on your NIC. It kills upload speeds to less than 1 Mbps. MWats	MWats to MWats Anon 2012-Jul-28 1:21 am to MWats I figured out the problem. I turned off Icontrol and now my upload speeds are back to normal. Thanks to all who replied with help. Totally helped. I was about to throw my puter.
