Gaming → Rift

I play Rift and have done since Beta and have a lot of fun with it. The game is nothing out of the ordinary but is well polished and very good at what it does. Course, as with any MMO the key is the friends you make and your GUild.

Plenty still play the game, on the EU side the Icewatch server is actually closed for transfers because it is full.

But whether or not its worth playing for only a month...probably not, it's an MMO and a casual 30 days is barely worth doing. Then again, it could mean getting set up nicely in case GW2 ends up not being all you hope it to be.

Rift is actually free for the first 20 lvls, so I would probably do that at least and see what you think. People tend to know if they like a game pretty quick after starting.
