kudos:18 | Mafia App I'm pursuing learning how to write iPhone/Android apps for business use and I thought my best motivator would be to do this for something I had an interest in. I want to design a mafia app. My new job makes it difficult for me to participate in anything during the day, but I've forfeited some game time at home to learn how to write and develop.
At this point, I'm about ready to dive into creating the UI and some of the basic functions of the application.
The goal is to:
* Play on your phone anywhere with any friends of your choice (discussion on how to manage "friends". Link from facebook? Register new? etc)
* Auto-moderate. Games and roles would generate automatically. Players would vote with a button, rather than with bold text. Games would auto-moderate.
* In-house private communication for mafia/third parties. A separate tab could be in place so that people could privately communicate with each other.
* The ability to expand to additional formats beyond C9/F11, such as Dethy or Crazy Games.
I want to gather thoughts and put together an initial scope of the application.

kudos:4 | Don't link to Facebook, as not everybody has it. Look at "Kingdom's Of Camelot: Battle for the North"'s communication system. It has private messaging set up as well as "group" messaging. Uses tabs. Unsure if it's on Android, but hard to believe it would not be.
