[Need Info] Quick Spell by Fornada Software REPLACEMENT needed

I used to have a spell checker on my XP called quick spell. Now I've got win7 and was going to write them for my registration code but they are out of business. (think).
Anyway, I liked it because it worked everywhere and all the time. When you typed a word small green yellow or red circle would appear above the word. *Green if you spelled the word correctly and red if it was wrong. Yellow was for words it wasn't sure of, etc.
Can anyone recommend a program that works most everywhere and lets you know as you type if the words are typed correctly?

hi chachazz... I read the info and it looks like what I want but when I went to download, c-net pops up with a warning: "This is not a common download and could damage your computer"
Did this come when you downloaded, (if you are using tiny spell)?

Download the .zip from the website; extract it to folder/location that suits you. Stay away from 3rd party hosting sites. Some are repackaging software with other junk software. Safest policy is to download from the author/developer site.

tinySpell is well-known and been around a long time.

100%
In fact, the only reason I provided a link to MajorGeeks.com initialy, was due to the fact I could not locate a link on his download page that offered the installer... without going to CNET.com. I ended up finding the full download page here without all that CNET.com stuff: »tinyspell.numerit.com/1931/

My mistake!

If you find that "tinyspell" doesn,t quite meet all your needs, there is another very good alternative called "speckie" which has been around for a very long time and was written specifically for IE..

Probably one of the very best for IE only.

Remember that cool hidden "Graffiti Wall" here on BBR? After the name change I became the "owner", so to speak as it became: Dustyn's Wall »[Serious] RIP

Hi Dustyn... May I ask, if you downloaded speckie, did you HAVE to run the Computer scan? Both programs won't let you continue the download unless you run the "free" scan and get the coupon saver programs, etc. that comes with it.
Did you run the scan? If so, could you get rid of the "baggage" that came with it?
Maybe I'm being too careful but I'm getting old and have forgotten how to do much of this stuff.

I'm perplexed as to why you are receiving these third party programs with these two applications? For Speckie I did not recieve any requests to do a scan nor did it come bundled with third party garbage.

Please try downloading it here, unzip it and launch the installation program: PEJ/51b23e.zip
The program is hosted right here under my account.
Let me know how that went. Again, Speckie only works with Internet Explorer.

Well same problem. I'm using win 7 and I.E. (I have always hated prog's that have to be unzipped.)
Thanking everyone for their time and help but going to live without perfect spelling.

Sorry to hear about that.
The file had to be zipped in order for me to upload it here... and the .ZIP just contains "1" single file... the installer. It should work perfectly. At any rate I wish you luck.

Dustyn, Success with the down load. (And no Scans, Ads, malware.) I don't know what I did differently this time, except I googled the name of the zip file and then put download. The same site popped up, then I clicked on the download and it goes through NO scan requirements.
The program works fine, just what I wanted and it is FREE. Thanks again pard.
Apparently "Googled" is not a word... lol
