Your contract renews for 1 year terms automatically at the end of your current term - you need to notify them you want to cancel in your LAST month of your contract.
1) notify comcast business you wish to cancel business class any time in your last month, or before, effective at the end of your current contract.
2) call comcast residential and get residential HSI before the end of your last month of business class (this is a completely different transaction, with the residential people.)
3) end of your last month of business class, turn in your BC modem.
4) done.
