You can't get cable TV turned off unless Comcast wants to charge you $10 more per month.

I never thought that no one wouldn't honor a disconnect request! I am a Comcast user in Tallahassee as well. I am happy with the lower end cable package. Digital Economy isn't anything to write home about but the pricing (I was paying $30 before I bundled it with Internet) but the pricing isn't too bad IMO... The Internet pricing on the other hand...

Needless to say, I am at my price limit on the TV side.
