Yeah, since exactly zero sites can harm you just by opening the link. It takes additional conscious action on the part of an ignorant user to cause damage.

Only true if physical harm and damage imagined, false for other scenarios

As other said, the pages may be safe from a malware perspective, but "safe" does not imply legitimacy any more than a SSL certificate implies legitimacy.

• First, never trust unsolicited emails, even if they appear to come from a trusted source.

• Second, always thoroughly research through known trusted sources before proceeding on any proposals or sales pitches.

• Third, (as previously stated) If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't. Common sense tells you nobody will pay random people that kind of money for that kind of stuff.
